Tennis Courts Opening

Hello Neighbors,

Thank you for your patience as we navigate our new normal.  We are all in this together, and I appreciate the feedback we have been receiving. We continue to follow government and legal counsel advice, to protect the Association as we roll out programs that will allow us to get outside and enjoy the summer in beautiful Ledgewood.

Based on legal advice and the Stay Safe Ohio Order, Ledgewood will open the two blacktop tennis courts (courts 3 & 4) on June 8, 2020. We have posted the Ohio Department of Health recommendations for tennisfacilities, which can also be found at coronavirus.ohio.gov.Key recommendations are:

• Stay at home if you are sick or do not feel well. Symptoms include cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headaches, sore throat and a new loss of taste or smell.
• Maintain six foot or more social distancing between individuals in all areas.
• Consider playing singles versus doubles.
• No gathering in groups.
• Players must not loiter.
• Practice good personal hygiene including washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, using hand sanitizer, refraining from touching eyes, nose, mouth with unwashed hands, coughing and sneezing into an elbow.
• Please bring and use your own personal hand sanitizer.
• The paper reservation clipboard has been moved to the blacktop courts.  Please bring your own writing instrument to make your reservation.
• Please limit your time to two hours and be mindful of your neighbors by limiting the number of days you reserve in a week.
• These courts are limited to Association members and their immediate family.
• The area is not monitored by the Association and it is every member’s obligation to observe these recommendations.
