Security Camera Policy

Pool security cameras:  All security cameras focused on the pool and fenced in pool area will be stored on DVR, which is overwritten in 7 days.  Lifeguards, Pool Managers, and Pool Trustee can view live footage to monitor the pool and pool area.

Common Ground security cameras:  This includes the security cameras in the playground, tennis and basketball court areas.  Digital video storage of these cameras is based on digital capacity.  Video footage will not be regularly monitored.    

Clubhouse, Maintenance Garage Area security cameras: Security cameras can be accessed remotely by only Trustees for the management of rental property and for the protection of Ledgewood Association assets.  Digital video storage of these cameras is based on digital capacity. 

No video footage is subject to examination or copying by owners. 

The Association will make a reasonable effort to save video footage of a recorded incident if and/or when the Association is alerted to a potential incident that may have been recorded on video.  When the Association is alerted to a potential incident, one or more of the Trustees and/or law enforcement may review the video footage of the alleged incident.  If an incident occurs that is captured on video, the Association will preserve the video for a reasonable period of time, and/or in accordance with any legal request to do so.  Any and all video preservation is not subject to examination or copying by owners, except as may be required by subpoena and/or the litigation process.

Regardless of any safety or security measures employed by the Association, the Association assumes no responsibility for the safety of its owners, residents, and/or guests.
